Celebrating life with a Friends of Paphos Hospice Tribute Fund.

This Tribute Fund offers you a way of remembering and/or celebrating the life of a loved one. It also allows you to remember them at special times throughout the year and provides a “place” for family and friends to visit and pay tribute.

People are creating tributes not just to reflect on the life of someone special, but also to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, in tribute to a particular organization or even as alternative to the usual wedding lists. Link to press/PR/Treasurer

How do I set up my tribute fund?

It is quick and easy allowing you to donate in whichever way suits you best. You can choose to give single donations, or monthly gifts by standing order, by Cheque or by hand to our shops. Remember FPH in your Will

A gift to FPH in your will would be a gift to people with advanced cancer or other diseases who need care to be able to make the most of their time with their loved ones. It would be a gift to carers who may need special counselling to help cope with the loss of a relative. It will be a gift to help us to continue our work and develop and extend our service of care.

EVERY EURO COUNTS:

Our Volunteers save the hospice an estimated €250,00
Every year. € 7500 Pays for patient drugs and oxygen for 1 year.
Each day Fundraising has to raise €700 To keep the hospice in business.
€ ?Each week provides training for a nurse in specialist palliative medicine. Ruth**
€ 2000 pays for dedicated consultant care each month
€ 50 sponsors a patient bed for a night
€ 100 sponsors a nurse for a week.

Our shops

Our shops in Chlorakas and Pissouri are our main fund raisers. We also have 2 Containers @ Yeroskipou Boat Yard for Stock Control.

This requires a large team of unpaid volunteers 40/50 alone for the shop in Chlorakas, there are 2 shifts per day requiring a minimum of 3 volunteers each shift.
